379 I’m sensitive! Understanding the patient experience of self-reported sensitive skin

Consumer self-reported sensitive skin has become more prevalent yet there is limited knowledge on exactly what and the attributes associated with skin. An online survey was conducted 1,000 participants in US two key objectives: 1) understand who sufferers are 2) their concerns experiences care products. insights most commonly perceived sensitivity triggers, symptoms, conditions were evaluated. Almost 65% of those self-identify as having discover before they 30 years old. In addition, extremely about 200% likely to have been diagnosed eczema, rosacea, acne vulgaris, or allergies than identify slightly sensitive. Moreover, itchiness (74%), dryness (61%), redness (64%) reactions among self-perceived consumers. This study contributes overall understanding consumers self-report provides important context healthcare professionals experience.
